(a poem from the Lord to His church through Karen - 24th December 1998) I called you into My Son - CHRISTian But you rather be in a denomination I called you to be the church But you would rather call yourself Anglican Brethren, Charismatic, Methodist or Presbyterian But I didn't call you to a denomination. I called you to obey My Word But you would rather follow man's tradition I called you to abide in Me But you prefer to remain a denomination But where in My Word is such a word For I didn't call you to a denomination. I called you to be My Body But you have divided IT with your denomination. I called you to be a saint But you rather practice schism And have caused division in My Body When I didn't call you to a denomination. I called you to be led by My Spirit But you'd rather be led by a denomination I gave you 9 gifts of the Spirit And there is also 9 fruit of the Spirit But you have made 9 denominations or more When I didn't call you to a denomination. I called you to the ministry of reconciliation But you divide yourselves with denominations I called you to be My son But you rather remain a Baptist, A Brethren or a 7 Adventist When I didn't call you to a denomination. Can My church stand if she is divided? Can My church prevail against the gates of hell? My promises are to the church And not to a denomination Now stop being a denomination Because I didn't call you to a denomination.
1 Cor 12:12,13, 25
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free;
and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
Col 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world,
and not after Christ.
John 17:21-23
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may
believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me,
that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them,
as thou hast loved me.
